Truth Never Fails.. CBI starts investigation on Bed Sheets Scam

This is in reference to our series of #tweets, deep analysis in the #BedSheet-Scam that occurred in South Central Railway (#SCR) Mettuguda Depot, highlighting how attempts were made to accept inferior bed sheets by twisting the #inspection-clause, facilitating the #firm a green channel by granting receipt notes at the shortest possible time, no trace of trucks seen getting un-loaded, no physical counting done nor any inspection made, forwarding and arranging firm’s invoices for payment on priority worth over ₹4.00 Crores to M/s. #BunkarJatiy Hatkhargha Sahkari Samiti Ltd-Kanpur against #GeM-Contract No. GEMC-511687723317185 dt. 21-Jul-23.

Now, we understand from sources at #Mettuguda depot that Central Bureau of Investigation (#CBI) has finally started their #preliminary investigations, to go deep into the #root-cause of this #scam, which officers were involved to act as an #accomplice with the firm and which officers were smooth facilitators for change of inspection and payment mode.

Now, the country can expect fair investigation, since #SCR-Vigilance were acting like #partners to the #corrupt officials, delaying investigation, trying to make lower end staff #responsible as #scape-goats and close the case.

We hope that with our tweets, an example has been set to all #IndianRailways that never try to play with public exchequers money, never protect the #wrongdoers and never try to accept #inferior-quality products, since at the end of the day, it is the #common-man who travels in #AC-Coaches are made to suffer by using inferior quality bed sheets.

We shall be covering further details, as and when we get authenticated information about the progress of the #CBI Investigation.
