Some Truth coming out after Expose and Expose of Bed Sheets Scam in SCR
Railway Board-Vigilance have made a few preventive checks in some Zonal Railways, where the orders for bed sheets have been placed on suppliers not their good books. Never have they visited SCR to make any checks, in spite of a big scam where efforts are being made to hush the case under the carpet during the last one year
This is the trailing investigation of the mysterious receipts taken place at Dy Chief Materials Manager, (#DyCMM) South Central Railway (#SCR), Mettuguda Depot, where 1,20,000 Nos #Handloom-Bed-Sheets were shown as received and accepted on 06.10.2023, but physically no consignment trucks had arrived.
Railwhispers had highlighted that this scam on two occasions, and we have kept reiterating that this could only be possible, only on the personal-instructions of the #Senior-officers related to placement of the high value #GEM Order at #SCR headquarters to a junior most officer in the depot.
Now repercussions for this big expose of the so-called mysterious receipts of Rs.4 Crores worth Handloom #BedSheets received from M/s #Bunkar Jatiy Hatkharga Sahkari Samiti Ltd-Kanpur, where we had kept reiterating the Senior-officers were involved in directing verbally the junior most officer at the #Mettuguda Depot of #SCR to follow their dictates have shown results.
Mr #KanhaiyaKumar, who was earlier holding the post of #CMM/G and dealing with the #procurement of bed roll items has been transferred in less than one year of taking charge to #CMM/T, due to constant #complaints of #corrupt-practices against him not at Zonal level but at #RailwayBoard Level. Copy of the #transfer order made by #GMSCR is an exhibit of proof.
We understand from a staff of the depot that against our previous #tweets on this issue, the SCR Vigilance had seized a few samples from the ultimate users directly, but we understand that the #Vigilance department seems to be under-staffed due to which a staff of the #Mettuguda-stores-depot was assigned to carry a few bed sheets to the #Textile-Laboratory, which less than 5 KMs from SCR Headquarters.

We understand that Mr #AnilAgarwal of M/s Bunkar Jatiy Hatkharga Sahkari Samiti Ltd-Kanpur, was called upon by higher officials to immediately fly to #Hyderabad on 31.10.2023, to get fresh and good #samples. We understand that these good samples may have been sweetly replaced and sent to the #laboratory by the #Mettuguda depot staff in the 1st week of November 2023, in favour of the vigilance department. Now what do the common passengers understand? They do not know anything nor any of their complaints for providing good quality bed sheets are ignored and #Corruption grows unabated.
Recently an analysis was made, how this magnitude of #Corruption can go unchecked.
What we understand from reliable sources is that Mr #KanhaiyaKumar, Ex-CMM/G-SCR has a good relation with Mr #AshokKumar, #ED-Vigilance-Stores, Railway Board, who is their best friend.

Now, it is upon the #CVC or external independent agencies like #CBI and #ED to investigate this big scam, as we understand Crores of Rupees have been made in the way of #bribes to favor and accept sub-standard bed sheets in SCR. To be continued..
