Encouraged by the new face brought in by our dear Prime Minister, we were so enthused that we roped in several senior railway officers who do not go to the television studios – some have started by this time, though – to give feedback on what really ails #IndianRailways.

We published a very detailed coverage on All India Delhi Service (#AIDS) and Khan Market Gang (#KMG) examining minute details of various departments and explained implications of #IRMS, how he was not the first #MR to be surrounded by #KMG:

This was result of truly pathbreaking research which exposed how irrespective of government – Dr. Manmohan Singh or NaMo, the core of #RailBhawan remained the same. We plotted how a set of privileged, who were called #AIDS and #KMG have monopolised the decision making positions in Rail Bhawan since decades.

These articles shifted the attention of #railwaymen to true nature of #cancer-lack of #rotation which made #Vigilance a den of #extortion, young officers groomed by corrupt seniors getting caught by #CBI. Officers becoming unofficer like paved road of decline of Indian Railways.

As observed by a keen officer, the decadence seen in railway colonies and clubs marked the inexorable fall in ethical standards which till recently formed the #DNA of Indian Railway’s leadership which served the country despite serious resource constraints.

There are instances of DRMs dancing before their General Managers on cheap bollywood numbers, where has the grace and dignity which marked conduct of railway officers and their wives gone? The poise of inscrutable Members, General Managers and DRMs has been last seen in the smelly sewers, sadly, this wizened officer commented.

Doing tenders and delivering project after throttling passenger traffic is no wonder-

Minister sahab, see the gazette notification of #Kavach, the system is built on existing #interlocking technology which fails whenever someone sneezes a kilometre away. You can call for #signalling-asset failure data which will be readily made available to you in minutes. When your foundation is shaky, what would #Kavach do whether 4.0 or 4.20, it just muddy the waters even more.

Hon’ble MR Saheb, Have you ever visited any relay room? Have you seen how your track circuits work? Have you been told how #Balasore and innumerable #accidents before that which occurred because of the very same interlocking, on which Kavach is built?

June 14, 2023: “Why talk of Kavach is not just Meaningless it is acceptance of complete failure of IR’s top management

How Kavach will be operative-lakhs of crores being spent but severely limited by existing failure prone interlocking system. Language of the Gazette is proverbial slip which is now Gazetted!

Kavach does not contribute to line capacity – it is too focussed on #collisions, which is just one mode of #accident which can be prevented if interlocking is focused on. Sir, please ask your signal engineers.
