During veeio conference on 26.12.19, CRB said.. to end departmentalism, merging is required. Again during next VC, he said despite addition in infrastructure, no improvements in loading/earnings, hence merging.. What is the actual reason for merging?

Only, a year back, two additional posts of Members created. Now you are talking about redesignating and reduction in number.

Also restructuring is done recently to ensure promotion at same pace due to proportionate posts in all grades for all services.

Now you are saying merging required for promotion at same pace. Does not it mean that all decisions are taken on adhoc basis.. and changing too frequently?

Said that henceforth, GM and DRM will be posted only on the basis of integrity and efficiency. Does it mean that present lot is dubious as they were not chosen on the basis of above criterion?

More than two years back, certain activities of mechanical and electrical department have redistributed. Like loco, Electrical, EMU, MEMU, Coaching, RPMU and Power car maintenance etc under mechanical. System is still not assimilated.

अब बताएं, जब आपके दो टेक्निकल डिपार्टमेंट (इलेक्ट्रिकल और मैकेनिकल) के मर्जर का प्रयोग अथवा प्रयास ही अभी तक सफल नहीं हो पाया और हकीकत में आज रेलवे में जो ‘रायता’ फैला हुआ है, वह इसी कबायली कुटिल मानसिकता से किए गए इन दो टेक्निकल डिपार्टमेंट के मर्जर के कारण ही है, जिसमें सीआरबी ने अपने विभाग के ‘सरदार’ की भूमिका निभाते हुए अपने विभाग का वर्चस्व कई पीढ़ियों तक सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कई बेहतरीन और समर्पित ईमानदार मैकेनिकल ऑफीसर्स की बलि ले ली।

वास्तव में जिन काबिल अधिकारियों के ऊपर रेलवे को फख्र होना चाहिेए था, उनकी तो आपने बलि चढ़ा दी। तो फिर सिविल सेवा से आए बॉयोलॉजिकली डिफरेंट डिपार्टमेंट और सभी डिपार्टमेंट के मर्जर की खिचड़ी बना देने पर क्या होगा? कल्पना करने मात्र से इस तुगलकी निर्णय की भयावहता में आपको रेलवे का सर्वनाश अपने आप नजर आ जाएगा।

और तब पता चलेगा कि रेलवे के ऊंचे पदों पर बैठे पिद्दी से अफसर अपने-अपने निहित और कबीलाई स्वार्थ से रेलमंत्री और पूरी कैबिनेट सहित प्रधानमंत्री तक को कैसे दिग्भ्रमित कर रहे हैं।

बड़ा सवाल यह है कि क्या रेलमंत्री और प्रधानमंत्री इस परिपेक्ष्य में इस मुद्दे पर पुनर्विचार करके रेल को बचाएंगे?
