SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY ORGANIZED VENDOR MEET TO FACILITATE VENDORS

The objective to organize the meet was to encourage the vendors for opting payment through Letter of Credit, Vendor Registration at Zonal Railway Level and on GeM Portal

Kolkata : South Eastern Railway, Materials Management Department organized a Vendor Meet at BNR Auditorium, S E Railway Headquarters, Garden Reach on Tuesday 28 th January. Ratnakar Pandey, Principal Chief Materials Manager, S E Railway inaugurated the day-long Vendor Meet.

The meet was attended by more than 300 representatives of vendors. The Officers of Banks and Senior Officers of Materials Management Department of this railway also attended the meet to interact with the vendors. The theme of this Vendor Meet was ‘Ease of Doing Business with S E Railway’.

The objective to organize the meet was to encourage the vendors for opting payment through Letter of Credit, Vendor Registration at Zonal Railway Level and on GeM Portal.

The vendors were also given guidance for procurement related issues. During the question and answer session, the vendors were apprised about the various procurement and payment systems of S E Railway.
