Mast in between the track: “Yes, it’s true, all the work is being done as per planning & predetermined manner” -CE/C-2/WCR
When asked somebody to the concerned official as – Is it true? If yes, then the interesting part will be how the foundation was done if Mast was erected afterwards or how the track was laid if Mast was erected first?
#OHE_Mast in between the rail line. An example of smart engineering of Indian Railways!
Yes Sir, it’s true, he said and explained as –
As per approved alignment of 3rd line at Isharwara station in Katni-Bina 3rd line project, the existing station building is coming in the proposed 3rd line alignment which can be dismantled only after shifting of panel operation to new Panel Interlocking (PI) building after Non-Interlocking (NI) at Isarwara.
To facilitate work in Isarwara-Nariaoli section till NI at Isarwara station, the track was temporarily laid at a slightly different/diverted location (approx. 250 m) for taking EUR rake, track m/c etc in the block section Isharwara- Nariaoli.
The section has been completed now and pre NI of Isarwara is planned from 24th August, 2022.
The OHE mast has been erected at the correct location.
After NI of the station, existing station building will be dismantled and the track laid will be slewed to the proposed alignment.
All the work is being done as per planning as a team in a predecided manner.
