GM/SER Ms Archana Joshi felicitats RPF constable for examplary effort
Kolkata : In a function held at South Eastern Railway headquarters, Garden Reach on Monday 13th September, Ms. Archana Joshi, General Manager, South Eastern Railway felicitated Mrinal Kanti Ghosh, Constable of Railway Protection Force/SER for his exemplary effort to save a lady passenger from fatal accident.
On 12.08.21, when 08635 Ranchi – Sasaram Special was about to depart Ranchi station, a lady tried to board the running train. Incidentally, she could not grip the gate of the coach handle and tripped. She was dragged on the platform by the running train.
On noticing this, on duty Constable, Mrinal Kanti Ghosh of RPF Post/Ranchi rushed to the spot and rescued the lady passenger.
Later, the guard stopped the train and the lady could board the train safely.
D.B. Kasar Principal Chief Security Commissioner, South Eastern Railway has also congratulated constable Mr Ghosh for his alertness and courageous act.
