Now PMO directly monitor all Railway projects by “e-Drishti”

A message given by CRB Vinod Kumar Yadav to all GMs & DRMs

We have created an account for e-Drishti for PMO and will be handing over login details to PMO at 4PM, i.e. 25th August, 2020.

Thereafter PMO can access all data fed in “e-Drishti”, (specially data regarding projects fed in IRPSM).

Minutes of meeting by Railway Minister (MR) 3 years ago, but nothing has been done till date

Yesterday, I had seen some of the projects. Still data for some of the projects are required to be updated.

There is some mismatch between target date for completion, physical progress and financial progress.

Details of Land acquisition and environment clearance are also required to be updated.

I request GMs/DRMs to please see the project details on IRPSM personally and get it updated (quality of data is very important) and then please put a system in place to get the data updated regularly.

Please make an officer responsible for checking data on continuous basis and get it updated and bring it to notice of GMDRM, whenever there is any issue.

I request GMs/DRMs to please ensure that data in IRPSM is updated on regular basis and henceforth performance of Zone/Division for project management will be assessed based on IRPSM data only.

IRPSM has provision to sort out projects on the basis of Zones and Divisions.

Therefore , it is important that DRMs should also monitor projects under divisional jurisdiction, even if projects are being executed by Construction Organisation under HQ.

If DRM finds that data pertaining to a project under his division is not accurate, he should immediately bring it to notice of GM/PHOD and get it corrected.

GMs to please allocate responsibility to officers (Zone/Division) to monitor and update data.
