Positive cases increasing day by day in Waltair Division

No proper prevention taken by the divisional administration

Visakhapatnam : COVID-19 positive cases increasing day by day in Visakhapatnam and officers and staff also infected, some staff of division were expired but no proper prevention taken at Administration level of Waltair Division.

Staff were forced to attend office duty, eventhough they can work from home on e office/e platform using internet.

Positive infected staff entered into office from various opened gates.

Surprisingly checking at one entrance gate with thermo scanner.. Outsiders, contractors entered offices without checking, this is a private security effect, said an employee of DRM office of Waltair.

Misutilization of staff

Misutilization of Technician posts under of Engineering department has to posted on Track works of P-Way, bridges, Tunnel but Engineering black smith (EBS), Engineering Carpenter, SPOM, PLF, influencing officers of Civil Engineering department and working in SSE/Works, ADEN and SrDEN offices.

Artisian staff encouraging to work in offices for collection of commission from contractors.

Some were engaged private persons to work in place of them.

Maintenance of railway quarters become very poor. Due to lack of inspection by the divisional officers.

They are simply passing the bills to private contractors without moving from seat.
