GM/SER conducted detailed annual inspection at Khadagpur Workshop

GM expressed satisfaction about the quality of work and out-turn of production for current financial year

Kolkata : General Manager, South Eastern Railway Sanjay Kumar Mohanty conducted a detailed annual inspection at Kharagpur Railway Workshop on 19.02.20.

General Manager was accompanied by J K Saha, Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer, S K Choudhury, Chief Works Manager, Kharagpur Workshop and Principal Officers of South Eastern Railway.

During the Annual Inspection, General Manager thoroughly inspected Wagon Shop, Diesel & Electric Loco POH Shop, Chemical & Metallurgical Laboratory, Carriage Shop, EMU Shop etc.

General Manager also inspected Regional Welding Training Institute and Staff Canteen.

While inspecting the Kharagpur Workshop, GM/SER Mohanty inaugurated Cone Cleaning Machine, Damper Test Room, flagged off BOXN Wagon Rake, Utkrisht Rake and Accident Repair Loco.

This apart, Genral Manager unveiled the Scrap Art and inaugurated Auditorium at Kharagpur Workshop.

GM Mohanty appreciated the endeavour taken by the workshop authority to make the workshop green and environmental friendly.

He also expressed satisfaction about the quality of work and out-turn of production for this financial year.
