Restore the trust and confidence in the system

#CBI, has been booking officers from various ranks, including #PHODs, #SAG, #SG, #JAG, #SeniorScale, #AssistantScale officers, and #supervisors.

We, the #Railwhispers have consistently called for the CBI’s actions to be seen as a #reflection of the #failure of internal #Vigilance in the #Railways. It is a clear indication that the #administrative-machinery has failed to implement #Rotation and prevent the strengthening of #Extortion networks.

The involvement of senior vigilance officers, such as #RKJha-#RKRai-#AshokKumar, in targeting the #VandeBharat team and #AKLahoti has raised serious concerns. These cases highlight the #corrupt-practices within the #RailwayBoard’s vigilance. We have requested a review of all cases handled by these officers and the publication of a #WhitePaper addressing this issue.

There has been a worrying trend of overlooking comments from #PHODs and #GMs. Since 2014, there has been a significant #decentralisation of #authority to General Managers, who are chosen through a rigorous review process. However, #Vigilance-officers are making cases without considering the comments of Department Heads and General Managers.

Projects like #BioToilets have been managed by #ProductionUnits without extensive guidance from #RDSO due to the diminished importance of #RDSO since 2014. #Vigilance officers consistently override the comments of Department Heads and General Managers, weakening trust of officers on their GMs and PHODs.

We recently reported on the issue, highlighting the need for trust between officers and their superiors. #Retired senior officers, including former GMs and Board Members, question how officers can make decisions if they lose trust in their GMs and PHODs? #Corruption within the #RailwayBoard #Vigilance department further exacerbates the problem.

We demand that the hon’ble #RailMinister and #CRB take immediate action to address this crisis. This includes investigating cases where the GM’s remarks have been ignored, publishing a white paper, reviewing cases handled by Jha-Rai-Ashok Kumar, personally interviewing #CVOs and #EDs/#PED, and implementing officer #rotation. Restoring confidence in the system is crucial for the decision-making process to function effectively.
