Complaints registered on Rail-Madad need introspection -GM/NCR
Target should be prompt disposal and immediate redressal of passenger complaint -Pramod Kumar, GM/NCR
Prayagraj Bureau: General Manager NCR Pramod Kumar conducted the weekly safety and punctuality meeting recently at NCR Headquarters, Subedarganj, prayagraj.
While reviewing the progress of the last week General Manager said that there is a need to conduct a monthly meeting by Plan head coordinators regarding the progress of ongoing works.
General Manager further said that the guidance and feedback given by the Passenger service committee which just inspected different stations should be taken very seriously and necessary action should be taken accordingly.
Deliberations were made on the complaints received on Rail-Madad. While presenting the analysis of Rail madad, it was informed that complaints related to cleanliness, punctuality, watering, AC failure, coach indication boards not working etc are being received on Rail madad.
General Manager asked for train wise and section wise monitoring of these complaints and expressed strong concerns on the cases where disposal time was high.
GM further instructed that feedback taken from the passengers should be analysed thoroughly and structural improvement should be carried out so that complaints of similar nature are not repeated.
Apart from this, an analysis of expenditure incurred and the state of financial health was also done head-wise. Among other issues discussed were the status of arbitration cases, court cases, position of RTI cases, references by MPs and MLAs.
In addition to it the position of HR cases was also reviewed which includes promotion of staff, compassionate appointments, PPO revision cases and modernization of staff, and modernization of training infrastructure.
GM Pramod Kumar took a strong view of the need to upgrade training infrastructure and facilities. He further instructed that staff grievances should be dealt with utmost priority.
The meeting was attended by all the PHODs and DRM/Jhansi at the NCR headquarter office while DRM Prayagraj and DRM Agra along with senior divisional officers joined through video conference.
