CRB visits Chakradharpur Division and conducts inspection at Jharsuguda station & Sardega siding
Kolkata: Vinay Kumar Tripathi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Railway Board arrived Jharsuguda station on Saturday, July 9, 2022 on his two-day visit to Chakradharpur Division of South Eastern Railway.
Ms. Archana Joshi, General Manager, South Eastern Railway and Divisional Railway Manager, Chakradharpur along with other senior officers welcomed Shri Tripathi at Jharsuguda.
During his visit, Chairman/CEO Shri Tripathi inspected Jharsuguda station premises including different passenger amenity measures like Waiting Lounge etc. While expressing his satisfaction about the different facilities available to the passengers at Jharsuguda station, he advised steps for development of Jharsuguda Passenger Yard.
At Jharsuguda station, Shri Tripathi visited the “One Station One Product” stall exhibiting Tribal Textile Products. He also inspected West Cabin Panel Room and Combined Crew & Guard Lobby at Jharsuguda.
Later in the afternoon, he visited Sardega and inspected the Coal Loading Points. He also held a meeting with senior officers of Mahanadi Coal Fields Limited regarding loading at Ib valley area and Sardega. He also reviewed the progress of third line work between Rourkela and Jharsuguda.
