Railway Minister will do the great service to the Nation, if he surrender 50% SAG posts

“Railway Minister will do the great service to the railway if he surrenders 50% SAG posts”, said a senior railway officer.

He says, “There have been substantial increase in HOD at HQ in each department”.

He further say, “These posts were created after surrendering of Field Level Junior Scale (JS) and Senior Scale (SS) Posts”.

One side no work or very little work to each HOD at Head Quarters who are drawing more than two lakh each per month. In field Junior officers (due to surrender) and Branch Officers (BOs) – due to use less work forced on BOs but extra HOD – are overloaded.

He further said that the Minister will do another great service to the Railways if retires railway Doctors at 60.

HAG grade Doctors drawing more than 3 lakhs per month are not expected to do the job of General Practice (GP) and they are not doing also.

Better railway can contract at Rs. 70,000 per month 5 Doctors in lieu of one HAG Doctor. They will manage better OPD and other services.

Railway specialist can manage theirs facilities better.

This will increase satisfaction among Doctors  and patient too.
