Central Govt employees not received honorarium of Maharashtra Assembly elections-2019

Officers and employees of various offices of the Central Government in Mumbai were deputed to perform Elections duty in the Media Center at the District Collector’s Office Mumbai city for the Maharashtra Assembly Election-2019 from 27.09.2019 to 5.11.2019.

For this, as per the rules, the basic pay was to be received as honorarium which has not been received yet even after one year by any central government employee who was on election duty.

But in March-April, some of the officers and employees of various offices of the state government in Mumbai have received the basic pay.

All the central officers have submitted their applications in the month of February 2020. But so far no action has been taken by the concerned authorities.
