Monitoring the running trial of kawach by the Hon’ble Minister for Railways, Mr Ashwini Vaishnaw

Test-1. At 130 kmph #speed driver was running but automatically Kawatch stopped at Home. Not allowed to go away from 50 mt the foot of the signal.

Test-2. Permanent speed restrictions (#PSR) Test 120 kmph. #Driver was taking the train at the speed of 130 kmph but Kawatch controlled the speed for the whole caution Zone. And the again speed raises to 130 kmph.

Test-3. Loop line setting and #train to be run at the speed of 130 kmph. Kawatch controlled speed to 30 kmph.

Test-4. Station master gave message of abnormalities and Kawatch automatically stopped the train.

Test-5. Level crossing (#LC) whistling test: At LC driver didn’t used #horn but Kawatch automatically applied horn while passing LC Gate no. 148.

Test-6. Test about next #signal aspect on #Cab of #Loco: It was continually visible all the time. This was the #test of Cab signaling also.

Test-7. Home signal spas test: Driver tried to cross home signal when it was red. Kawatch didn’t allowed them to cross.
