Organised loot and corruption in Gorakhpur Stores Depot of NER

It has come to light that Gorakhpur Stores Depot (#GKPD) of #NERailway has cut down on number of #CCTV in the depot. This is being done to facilitate #theft of #scrap-materials and also #mixing of non-ferrous materials.

As per received information, earlier 34 CCTV cameras were installed in depot but now the number has come down to 22, and worst thing is most of the #cameras at sensitive locations are not working.

When enquired from #CDMS/Sale Mr #TrivendraNath and #DMS Mr #ShashankPandey they said, “it’s non of your business”. Further when tried to contact DyCMM/Depot Mr Kaustubh he did not answer the calls. #CDMS/Sale further said, “Jo #AMRS sahab par kharcha hua hai vo kahan se poora hoga aur bina mixing ke scrap me kya karenge!”

It is clear that organised #nexus is looting #Railway money. Worst thing is #Vigilance is nearby, hardly one kilometre away but not doing anything.

Same is the case in #receipt-section where #CDMS #ManishSingh is delaying material receipt when all #ZonalRailways has shifted to #Auto-DRR regime. By doing this he is asking firms #laisioners – names withheld – to come and meet in private and then #loot money goes to #DyCMM/D on every Sunday.

Worst thing is they are not learning their lessons and hell bent upon bringing shame to railway.

Similar is the situation in #Local-purchase-section when payment can be made directly to firms account, Gorakhpur Store Depot is doing through cheques just to extract money from #vendors, failure will result in delaying payment.

All these things can be verified independently but no one wants to do so, as they probably are extracting benefits through Mr #Kaustubh, DyCMM/D/GKP.

A person came to know about #Railwhispers from railway employees and indeed #Railwhispers is exposing #corrupts, hence written a email so that it reaches to responsible authorities and fear goes into heads of #wrongdoer.

CCTV Procedure:

  1. #RailwayBoard has instructed to install CCTV in all #depots and #delivery points for effective management of scrap sales activities.
  2. In continuation to same feed of all CCTVs to given to #RPF for effective monitoring and management.
  3. Further a feed to be provided at prominent locations in all depots.
  4. Before delivery of lots all DMS and witnessing parties to confirm/ensure that all CCTV cameras are working correctly.
  5. This ensures fixing up of responsibility.
  6. CCTV of weighment bridge to be placed at correct location and there should be another CCTV focusing on the same, so that no one tempers it.
  7. Any tempering activity to be viewed seriously.
  8. CCTV in non-ferrous ward should work at all times to avoid any mixing.
  9. Surprise night inspection by officers and subordinate staffs to be done as per stores code.

As per information, non of above CCTV procedures are followed in Gorakhpur Stores Depot. To continue..
