CRB worried about increasing accidents, a written msg given to all zonal GMs by him

Actually, He is worried because last CRB was also removed on accident account only

A message by CRB:

Dear GMs/DRMs

The trend of derailments, specially passenger trains, have increased.

Latest is derailment of Loco of passenger train at DDU (Deendayal Upadhyay) station today.

Initial report suggests Loco has derailed while negotiating double slip diamond.

The diamonds are always vulnerable. We need to maintain strict maintenance regime for all vulnerable locations.

Request GMs/DRMs to review maintenance of track and also operational practices with PCE/COM, SrDOM and SrDEN.

We need to give top priority to safety.

A report on action plan may be sent by Tuesday to ED/E&R.

I would like to review some time next week.
