Stop this huge scam, corruption & manipulation
The #NorthernRailway purchase department who are allegedly heavily bribed have done this tender only and only to pass the rejected material
This grievance is pertaining to #IREPS SPECIAL LIMITED TENDER (#SLT) NO. 10231190A due today on 4th January, 2024 for #WinterJackets. This #Tender was published one night before on 03.01.2024 at 7.40 pm and was opened the other very next day on 04.01.2024 at 11.00 am so that no other party can see that tender or show their willingness to participate. The purchase (#Stores) department also did not consult with regular suppliers before publishing this tender.
Whereas the order for supply of similar item has been given to two firms – Pratap Industries, Delhi & Napasar Polymer Pvt Ltd. Kolkata – and the supply is under process.
As per reliable sources, this tender was done to favour a single #cartel consisting of #PartapIndustries, Delhi, #MangalCorporation, Kolkata, #RSIndustries, Kolkata, #YorksFashion, Delhi.
Last year an order was placed on M/s Mangal Corporation, Kolkata of same product and the same specification. #MangalCorporation, Kolkata had failed to deliver the products because their material was rejected by inspection agency #RITES during the inspection. Their order was ultimately cancelled. This tender has been specifically done to supply that sub-standard material of #WinterJacket to the #consignee showing so-called urgency. The order may be placed on any one of the #cartel member and the rejected material will be supplied by changing name of the #Company and brand labels, said sources.
This material was rejected by #RITES because it was non-specified and #unsafe for the #track maintainers. They work day and night under the open sky under high risk situations. The #NorthernRailway purchase department who are allegedly heavily bribed have done this tender only and only to pass the rejected material of Mangal Corporation. This entire #scam is being orchestrated by a local liasoner named – Mr #AjayGoel who handles all the firms in the cartel along with the purchase department of Northern Railways, Headquarters.
If this rejected material will be supplied to the track maintainers there are huge chances of #accidental deaths on tracks. The lives of track maintainers are at high risk. Hon’ble #Minister for Railways is requested to stop this huge scam of corruption and manipulation, and also take strict action against the officers concerned. To continue..
