Post to #Railwhispers’ #tweet dated July 27, 2023 on #IPMPLS router, the major contemplation point no. 4, “asking past performance by various #Zonal official had been pressurized to discharge the tender” – A SERIOUS action was initiated by Top Management of #RailwayBoard by calling a meeting with Department of Telecommunications (#DoT) – Investment Promotion Cell.

The Committee constituted as per Clause 15 of Department of Telecommunications #PPP-#MII Order dated 29 August 2018, for vetting the restrictive and discriminating terms and conditions against domestic manufacturers for #telecom products, services and works was held on 24.08.2023 at 5:00 PM under the Chairmanship of #DDG(IC) at Department of Telecommunications, Sanchar Bhawan, New Delhi through video conferencing.

In this regards, #Railwhispers would like to bring to the public notice that vide Office Memorandum no. 2023/tele complaint redressal-PMI(3420420) point no.8 it is clarified that asking “Past performance of the #IPMPLS #Router is not violating #DPIIIT-#PMI guidelines.

However still, it is found that the Telecom Department of #RailwayBoard, specially ED/Tele who has already been transferred to East Central Railway (#ECR) on 12th September, 2023 but not released yet, are in-directly finding way’s and mean and threatening the concern Zonal officers like #ECR, #WR, #NFR to discharge the tender where in “past performance of the product” is mandated.

Various trusted #OEM’s in #MII as well as non-MII with proven #past_performance are available in the market and hence they again request Railway Board to extend their support by intervening in the said matter to stop this #malicious act and also immediately cancel the orders issued without considering the Past Performance of the #IPMPLS Router.
