Names for CRB and Board Member

#Railwhispers has always been publishing articles based on reliable source information. We maintain an unbiased stance towards senior officers, offering both praise and criticism when warranted.

Previously, we reported on #NaveenGulati, highlighting how he received preferential treatment. In the past, we also criticised #SatishKumar for neglecting specific inputs and rejecting feedback in a very bad manner.

However, numerous readers have reached out to us to share their personal #experiences with these officers when they were stationed in #Lucknow, #Chennai, #NewDelhi, and #Varanasi.

As proponents of source information, we are now publishing these individual messages from senior officers with over twenty years of railway experience. Artificial intelligence tools have also been utilised to compile the article from these messages in an English article.

Through source information, #Railwhispers feel that though though #RailwayBoard has #RNSunkar and #AnjaliGoyal as outstanding board members, but practice of giving #extension to Board members has weakened the system and undermined the standing of officers. We believe that Mr Sunkar and Ms Goyal as systems people would also agree with this view.

Regarding Mr Satish Kumar and Mr Naveen Gulati, who have time and experience on the side, we present #crowdsourced review. Please note dear reader that #Railwhispers has written very critically about these officers, but as we maintain, we do not hold anything against a particular officer. We believe that team of #railwaymen at large should have #confidence in their leaders.

Standing

#SatishKumar is well-known for his hard work and dedication as an officer. He is always available to support and assist his subordinates, and he is not one to resort to firing as a #disciplinary method which is very common amongst railway bosses. Reports from various cities, such as #Varanasi, #Lucknow, and #Prayagraj, praise his integrity and upstanding character. These sources have also mentioned that he has never been known to be involved in any extortion activities throughout his career. He is highly regarded for his expertise in rolling stock matters.

Mr Satish Kumar, GM/NCR

#NaveenGulati is described as a people-oriented individual, and officers from various departments speak highly of his maturity and approachability. He avoids engaging in debates or issues that are beyond his jurisdiction, but as demonstrated during his tenures as #DRM, #AGM, and briefly as #GM, he is not afraid to exercise his authority. He has also never been involved in any exploitative partnerships. Being an electrical officer, people talk of his association with #SudheerKumar, which is not fair. Every electrical officer of certain seniority is known to #SudheerKumar as he spent nearly twenty years in railway board. He is unlike #SudheerKumar, #JeetendraSingh, and #NaveenKumar, as he is not conspiratorial in conduct and daily life.

Mr Naveen Gulati, MTRS/RlyBd

Given the magnitude of the projects at hand, it is crucial to have capable, decisive, and ethical leaders who can earn the respect of their subordinates. Both these officers are liked by juniors of all departments, which shows that they would provide credible leadership.

As the selection of the #Chairman/#CEO enters its final phase, we hope the #Government of India considers the future of the #railways and takes action to instill confidence in railway #personnel regarding their leadership.

It is also important that the new #CRB reins in #Vigilance as flagged by Shri #AshwiniVaishnaw, Hon’ble Minister for Railways himself. Otherwise, #honest officers would avoid posting in decision making positions.

We also expect that new/incumbent #CRB reviews the suspicious #transfer orders, #postings and implement #rotation while #honestly examining issue of #DRM selection and method by which Divisional Superintendents (#DS) in past used to be selected and worked.
