Smt Aparna Garg, Divisional Railway Manager, South Western Railway, Mysuru on Sunday, 15th December, inaugurated the first herbal coffee kiosk in the circulating area of Mysuru. Railway station. The outlet also sells small eats like cookies, samosas, etc. made out of millet.

Mysuru being a prominent tourist destination in the South attracting tens of thousands of tourists and yoga enthusiasts – including a big number from overseas throughout the year and this initiative is to make available to those using rail services unique and genuine products of this region like herbal coffee, snacks made of millets, intricately crafted inlay works in rosewood, renowned agarbathis, Organics and Naturals by setting up a total of 5 kiosks of which herbal coffee kiosk is the first one. Besides offering tourists best products at fair prices, helps Railways in shoring up revenue by optimal utilisation of open spaces without affecting the aesthetics of the heritage Railway station building.
