Appointment letters handed over at Kharagpur and Ranchi

During rozgar mela – the recruitment drive launched by Prime Minister

Kolkata: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched Rozgar Mela┬атАУ the recruitment drive for 10 lakh personnel through video conferencing on Saturday, 22nd October, 2022.

During the ceremony, appointment letters were handed over to 75,000 newly inducted appointees at 50 places across the country.

Rozgar Mela was held at Kharagpur and Ranchi over South Eastern Railway jurisdiction to hand over the Appointment Letters to the newly inducted recruits.

Addressing the appointees, the Prime Minister started with greetings and best wishes for Dhanteras. “Today marks the day when a new link in the form of Rozgar Mela is being anchored to the employment and self-employment campaigns in the country that are going on for the last 8 years”, he said.

The Prime Minister said that keeping in mind the 75 years of independence, the Central Government is giving appointment letters to 75,000 youngsters under a programme.

In the Rozgar Mela held at Kharagpur, total 220 Appointment letters were handed over to the newly inducted recruits for different posts in various Ministries and Departments including Railways, Post, Education etc.

Nisith Pramanik, Union Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, MP, Dilip Ghosh, MP, Hiranmoy Chattopadhyaya, MLA, were present during the ceremony.

S. Hashmi, DRM/Kharagpur, welcomed the distinguished guests and the new recruits on the occasion. Dr Mahua Verma, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, S.E.Railway also attended the programme.

In the Rozgar Mela held at Ranchi, Arjun Munda, Minister of Tribal Affairs, Government of India was the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Sanjay Seth, Sudershan Bhagat, MP, Deepak Prakash, MP, Aditya Prasad, MP, Babulal Marandi, former Chief Minister of Jharkhand and MLA C.P.Singh MLA & Sammari Lal, MLA.

Total 249 appointment letters were handed over to newly inducted recruits at Ranchi in different organisations like Railways, Banks, CPRF, Postal, CISF, GSI, ESIC, BSF, Ministry of Housing etc. Pradeep Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Ranchi welcomed the distinguished guests and the new appointees on the occasion.

As per the directions of the Prime Minister, all Ministries & Departments are working towards filling up existing vacancies against sanctioned posts in Mission Mode.
