Board has clarified that no Group ‘A’ post of any organised service is proposed to surrender

It has come to notice of Railway Board that some Officers/Groups have expressed apprehension that sanctioned strength of Group ‘A’ posts of 8 organised services will get reduced after formation of IRMS.

It is clarified by the Board that, “no Group ‘A’  post of any of the 8 organised Services/Cadres is proposed or planned to be surrendered and therefore career prospects of existing Group ‘A’ officers shall not be affected adversely.”

“The projected cadre strength of IRMS is only indicative”, the Board said.

The above message received from a officer’s group.

But it has also been confirmed by a reliable source of the MR cell that the above statement is correct.
