Western Railway launch a special Safety drive for safety of own personnels
In last one week Western Railway have lost 2 Railway Personnel
As per Kakodkar Committee Report in 4 years period from 2007 to 2011 a total of 1009 passengers were killed in Railway accidents, whereas 1600 Railway Personnel lost their lives in the same period.
In last one week we have lost 2 Railway Personnel – one from diesel shed and other a Guard, above as written in a message by the safety department of the Western Railway.
A special safety drive letter has been prepared by WRly Safety department which gives the checklist for staff of all the seven departments with assistance from office of PCEE.
The special safety letter has been sent to all DRMs of WRly and they are requested to launch this drive, which is for safety of our own personnels.
It is lengthy but correct to elaborate.
