The most coward Drawing Room Generals cast aspersions on the organisational existence of CRPF
The words wont be minced in expressing our deep resentment and disappointment with the most demoralising remarks vomited by an IPS officer against CRPF which is battling the menace of militancy in close coordination with Army/RR and JKP and that too, in the most difficult and challenging operational theatre of Kashmir.
Expanding their venomous hatred against the CAPFs fraternity who are questioning their un-deserving and colonial presence in these deeply regimented and gallant organisations, now, these IPS officers have brazenly started questioning their glorious history of valour and sacrifices.
These drawing room generals carrying gravity defying arrogance can’t absorb and digest the growing recognition of the CAPFs cadre officers and its rightful validation by the Supreme Court and are now indulging in mud slinging using the very soil which is soaked with the blood of many gallant soldiers of CAPFs.
If something has to be questioned, it should be the farcical and unethical gallantry decorations of these pseudo generals, which are undeservingly claimed during their one or at the most one and half years of tenure in ops theatres.
The recent one is the gallantry decoration of Mr Atul Karwal, ADG who aspired and begged a medal on the premise of the supreme martyrdom of Shaheed Commandant Pramod Kumar and secured his gallantry medal in the year 2020 for an operation, which was conducted in the heart of Shrinagar city in the year 2016 and when all deserving medals were declared in the year 2016 only.
His name did not figure in the initial recommendations but when he got himself placed in HQ, he applied all his might in connivance with a favourable set of officers in CRPF & MHA and succeeded in securing this undeserving decoration after a gap of 4 years.
We all were there at the scene of operation and always found him sitting within the secured confines of bullet proof bunker all throughout the operation. It really sucks.
And, now their very brethren doubts the valour, integrity and contribution of a great Force.
You all would be mighty surprised to know that allegedly, even this very “Out of Control” officer, Mr Vijay Kumar, IG Kashmir also exploited his very tenure in CRPF as IG (Ops) Dte, pressurising the Shrinagar Sector, CRPF to re-initiate a gallantry medal recommendation in favour of him in a 5-6 year old case, and subsequently securing it, undeservingly & unethically.
And, the story is unending. Even our present day DG dons a fake gallantry medal which was presented to him on a platter during his ever gallant tenure of Kashmir as CRPF IG. Humorous, isn’t it ??
The time has come for we Indians to intervene, enquire and expose them.
These IPS officers treat CAPFs as a honeymoon destination bearing the sole purpose of settling their parasitic families forever in and around National Capital with lifelong infrastructural support of CAPFs at the cost of National security and to facilitate their lobby habits for a post retirement settlement, in the proximity of the power corridor.
In the best interest of regimentation, military values, traditions and the national security, it is high time that honouring the constitutional sanctity of the Apex Court and its OGAS/NFFU judgement, the reins of CAPFs shall be immediately handed over to the cadre officers, and these parasitic and drawing room generals be asked to attend and repair their primary mandated duties of Law & Order in States, which is breathing its last in several ICUs all across the country.
How long, CAPFs would be called in for the damage control missions in states, solely for the failure of these officers.
The country is witnessing all sorts of problems in various states just because of this very fact that these one exam wonders are not earnestly attending to their prime responsibilities.
And, after miserably failing in their prime duties, they come and occupy the coveted positions in CAPFs, badly damaging the military fabric of it.
It is only their proclamation that Army/RR is functioning better than the CAPFs, forgetting the very fact that it is only because of one prime reason that unlike CAPFs, the Army/RR doesn’t have Parachute Generals commanding them, having a shelf life of one or two years, with a sole purpose of personal settlement and rehabilitation.
In the process, destroying CAPFs, either from the command positions from within the Force or sitting outside in a state, criticising us to the core in sheer frustration of their inability to cover their own fallacies and failures.
I pray to God to bestow CAPFs all the powers to defeat the enemy within and outside ! Let the immoral, un-ethical and un-deserving stakes and conduct of these babus in uniform cease one day. Our great nation will emerge more stronger that day. Amen
