East Central Railway Under Scanner: Inquiries Demanded Over Tilted Krishnashila Building Scandal

A massive corruption scandal has rocked the East Central Railway (#ECR) following allegations that a newly constructed building in #Krishnashila settled and tilted immediately after its inauguration, prompting whistleblowers to claim the structure was built solely for ceremonial purposes only.

According to reports submitted by whistleblowers, the project was supervised by a Deputy Chief Engineer under the watchful eye of a Chief Administrative Officer, who allegedly rewarded the #DyCE with lucrative and high-value postings in exchange for malpractices, allowing him to continuously enjoy the fruits of illegal gratification.

Sources claim that almost all senior officials who visited the site saw the poor condition but no one dared to ask to the concerned engineer. The local vigilance units were fully aware of the substandard construction but chose to look the other way and closed their eyes to these misdeeds after allegedly receiving their cut and commission.

The report severely criticizes the railway construction wing, alleging it has transformed from a vital public entity into a private contractor organization where Chief Administrative Officers function as “corrupt activity officers” driven by a single agenda to take their share and move to their next target.

Furthermore, the submission accuses top officials of construction organisation misusing government resources and compromising public safety by illegally deploying Railway Protection Force (#RPF) personnel as personal security guards simply to serve as a status symbol and satisfy their false egos, thereby placing public security and railway property heavily at stake.

Whistleblowers are now demanding an immediate, high-level inquiry into the “Krishnashila fraud and faulty construction”, calling for strict punitive action not only against the primary culprits but also against anyone who shielded them, while specifically holding the Senior Deputy General Manager (#SDGM) of East Central Railway accountable for completely ignoring and hiding the entire corruption episode.
