New Delhi, 30 August 2025: In the meeting of the Working Committee of the All India Railwaymen’s Federation (#AIRF) held on 28 August 2025, after extensive discussion on the present preparation issues, it was decided that since the Government of India has not yet issued the Gazette Notification of the 8th Pay Commission even after more than six months have passed since its announcement, and in view of the grave concern among all central Government employees including the railway employees across the country, the Government of India should be given an immediate warning.

Accordingly, all the affiliated unions of the All India Railwaymen’s Federation (AIRF) will hold a massive demonstration at every branch level across the country on 19 September 2025, coinciding with the martyrdom day of 19 September.

The General Secretary of the All India Railwaymen’s Federation (AIRF), Shiva Gopal Mishra, has appealed to the lakhs of employees across the country to pay special attention to the fact that the resentment is spontaneous, natural and widespread.
