AIRF welcomes the announcement for constitution of 8th CPC for the Central Government Employees
New Delhi: Shiva Gopal Mishra, General Secretary, All India Railwaymenās Federation (#AIRF), has expressed happiness upon announcement about the constitution of the 8th Central Pay Commission (#CPC) by the Government of India for the Central Government Employees.
Shri Mishra thanked to Prime Minister as well as Government of India, for considering favourably this long-pending demand of AIRF.
He hoped that the said Pay Commission will complete its works within the timeframe this year as promised by the Government.
He said that, this significant decision marks a pivotal moment in our ongoing efforts to ensure fair and equitable compensation for the dedicated workforce that serves our nation.
GS/AIRF further said that, formation of the 8th Pay Commission is a testament to Government’s commitment to addressing the financial needs and welfare of its employees. It reflects our collective recognition of invaluable contributions made by Central Government Employees in various sectors, particularly during challenging times.
Shri Mishra further added that, since long #AIRF is demanding for comprehensive review of the pay structure, and we are optimistic that this Commission will bring about necessary reforms to enhance financial well-being of the Central Government Employees.
