Yet another accident because no one is accountable

In yet another #accident of a #signal failure, a speeding 12578, Bagmati Express train rammed into a #stationary goods train at Kavaraipettai near Gummidipoondi in the #ChennaiDivision of #SouthernRailway on Friday night at around 20.30 hrs on October 11, 2024.

Train Passed #Ponneri at 20.27hrs, As per LP signals are Green/Proceed KVP home #signal in proceed aspect, speed at 109-Kmph. #LP controlling train to adhere Trailing point 90-Kmph, meantime crew experienced heavy jerk train entered in to Loop line and collided with Stabbled stock (#BCNE) next to TE, one VPU got #fire also 13 coaches derailed.

UP/DOWN movement completely affected. According to railway sources, Train No. 12578 Mysuru-Darbhanga, Bagmati Express was given a green signal to pass through the main line. However, the train speeding at 109 kmph entered the loop line and collided with the rear of a goods train stabled there.

Train signaled green on mainline, but dashed a stabled goods train on loop line. Eerie similarity with #Balasore mode. However, details are yet to emerge. The jerk reported is easily explained, experts say, “when train moving at #highspeed enters a loop, it will experience #violent-jerk. Time that #honest-enquiry is done and #responsibility truly fixed”.

#Modi ji, convey the message that no #responsibility without #accountability. The manipulations of #KMG needs to be called out and punished. Otherwise you will continue to be given poor advise. Eg, #Kavach cannot prevent #accidents like Balasore where wiring is problem (remember #Samlaiya which you attended as Chief Minister and Lalu Prasad Yadav as Minister for Railways-2005, #Harchandpur-2018, #Balasore-2023 which you attended as Prime Minister), so what will Kavach do?
