It is high time, Hon’ble Railway Minister in order to enforce strict discipline and at the same time improve his image from a #REEL-Minister to Railway Minister, should regular reshuffle both officers – Group-A & Group-B – to other Zonal Railways periodically, so that Corruption can be controlled
With young Direct Recruited (#DR) Accounts Officers (#IRAS) falling for cheap money and compromising the Government’s interest, Finance Directorate-Railway Board have started transferring DR Officers of Accounts in a major #overhaul and trying to cleanse their #bad-image, even though none of the officers have completed their tenure in their parent #Railway. Copy of the #RailwayBoard order dated 16.07.2024 speaks itself.
But the question is why other important #Directorates like #Engineering, #Electrical, #Mechanical, #SignalTelecom, #Stores, #TrafficCommercial, #HR-Personnel Directorate not overhaul their Direct Recruited Officers?
Many Officers in these branches are working over 14 years in same Railway and some in same station across the Indian Railways, but who is going to cleanse their #department’s image.
The rule of #Rotation is that an officer is posted for 4 years in a post or 8 Years in a place, but most of the officers of these departments are staying in the same #station years together by keeping the higher officials of #RailwayBoard and their #PHODs in good books.

#IndianRailways is a #service-provider and #lifeline to the nation. Any compromising to the #ethics will be felt by the common man. Though, #RailMadad app was developed to redress the common man’s #grievance and ensure better services, but this is just an #app where no fruitful gains are achieved.
Special Video Conferences (#VC) conducted by #CRB & #CEO, Railway Board is just an eye wash to Zonal #GeneralManagers and #DRMs, who care less for ensuring better services to the passengers.
