It seems that the Government and especially Ministry of Railways have learned nothing from Balasore!
Mantri ji, Thanks to you for patronage to KMG, 300 died, thousands of injured and become divyang for lifetime, PM visited accident site again, what changed in these years? How can you shake off responsibility Mantri Mahoday?
The #BalasoreTrainTragedy is nothing but a result of a deep seated apathy and indifference of Minister & Tenderman towards the Railway Safety in the last 2 years, as whole Ministry is heavily bogged down and totally pre-occupied in procuring more and more Locos, Wagons and Train-sets far beyond the requirement by diverting all the safety funds to these undue procurements!
Mantri ji, stop tenderman from gaming Shivirs to rubber stamp his devious plans – By allowing KMG to continue, instead of correcting the mistakes of past, he made you spend more on the plans and programs which brought disrepute to previous governments. Now he brings disrepute to your administration!
The tenderman is least bothered or moved by such a devastating accident in Odisa and still pressurizing the Board Members for procuring more and more Wagons and Vande Bharat trains as per the tender conditions concocted by him, which will benefit only and only #tenderman to the detriment of Indian Railways!
In the entire Railway Board, there is atmosphere of fear, terror, nepotism, manipulation, intrigue & dictatorship, good officers are highly scared of telling the truth and silently complying with the orders of tenderman, not only that, they are forced to appreciate tenderman in all the forums to save their own skin!
Last week, Indian Railway witnessed one of the biggest railway accident in its history. However, it seems that the government and especially Railway Ministry has learnt nothing from it as its priorities still so badly misplaced and distorted that it is full time busy only in purchasing the 200 kmph expensive and fancy, yet useless Vande Bharat trains at the cost of Rs. 32000 crore despite the we’ll known fact that Indian Railway is not going to have any track of 200 kmph even in the next 15 year and therefore such fancy and expensive train sets are going to be of no use to Indian Railway.
Such superfluous, super-expensive and wasteful expense is being made at the cost of safety of hapless passengers. The importance of safety in the mind of the #Minister & #Tenderman can be gauged from the fact that they left in the middle of the presentation on Railway Safety in the Rail Shivir.
The #BalasoreTrainAccident is nothing but a result of a deep seated apathy and indifference of #Minister & #tenderman towards the #Railway_Safety in the last 2 years, as whole Ministry is heavily bogged down and totally pre-occupied in procuring more and more #Locos, #Wagons and #Trainsets far beyond the requirements of Indian Railways, by diverting all the safety funds to these undue procurements.
Even the #RailShivir was a ploy to get recommendations from various #Zonal Railways and the Railway Board for procuring even more locos, wagons and train sets, as the disappointed Railway Officers could see during the presentations on 160 kmph and on increasing the loading, where the final recommendation were to procure many more Locos of 9000 hp, more than one lakh new wagons and buying more and more train sets.
It is obvious that this #RailShivir was meant to rubber-stamp the premeditated decision of additional procurements and not for improving the safety of Railways. The #tenderman has totally distorted the priorities and vision of Hon’ble prime minister. But the Minister for Railways who is spending most of the time in Rail Bhawan in meetings with #tenderman and #MTRS regarding the procurement of locos, wagons and train sets whereas the procurement of important safety items like concrete sleepers etc has been languishing for a year.
The entire atmosphere in #IndianRailways has become so much vitiated that most of the superseded senior officers are totally demoralised and busy in their representations for #Level-16 and #Level-17 instead of concentrating on their job and day to day working. Many are preparing to move the court and preparing the long petitions for going to the #CAT.
All #DRMs are totally bogged down with the heavy work load which has been thrust upon them through the newly created #GatiShakti units and the much needed focus on #Safety is totally missing in the divisions.
The #tenderman is least bothered or moved by such a devastating accident in Odisa and still pressurizing the Board Members for procuring more and more Wagons and Vande Bharat trains as per the tender conditions concocted by him, which will benefit only and only #tenderman to the detriment of #IndianRailways.
In the entire #RailwayBoard, there is atmosphere of fear, terror, nepotism, manipulation, intrigue and dictatorship. Good officers are highly scared of telling the truth and silently complying with the orders of tenderman. Not only that, they are forced to appreciate tenderman in all the forums to save their own skin.
Hon’ble RailMantri ji, Stop #Tenderman from gaming Shivirs to rubber stamp his devious plans – All Shivirs since 2015 have been organised by him. By allowing #KMG to continue, instead of correcting the mistakes of past, he made you spend more on the plans and programs which brought disrepute to previous governments. Now he brings disrepute to your administration.
2005, CM Modi visited accident site of Sabarmati express which under identical circumstances as in #Balasore, collided with parked freight train. Mantri ji, Thanks to your patronage of #KMG, #PMModi visited site of #Coromandel Express derailment in 2023 – what changed in these years? How can you shake off responsibility? It was #KMG then, same #KMG continues now as well – with greater support and now sitting in Minister’s office.

“PM Modi visits site of Coromandel accident in 2023”
#Mantri ji, did ever your #Tenderman tell you about this while deciding priorities for you?
For God’s sake Mantri Mahoday, 300 have died on your watch as you forced railway leadership to takes eyes off the ball.
