South Eastern Railway celebrates  66th Railway Week

GM/SER while addressing the gathering mentioned about South Eastern Railway’s contribution towards the growth of Indian Railways and complimented the railway employees for their sincere efforts and commendable performance

Kolkata: South Eastern Railway celebrated the 66th Railway Week, 2021 at Kolkata on Tuesday, 7th December, 2021.

Ms. Archana Joshi, General Manager, South Eastern Railway graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Atulya Sinha, Addl. General Manager, Vijay Kumar Panjiar, Senior Deputy General Manager along with all Principal Head of the Departments attended the function.

Divisional Railway Managers of Kharagpur, Adra, Chakradharpur & Ranchi were also present o­n the occasion.

As many as 164 selected railway officers & staff including Group Awardees were felicitated in recognition of their outstanding services and devotion to duty during the year 2020-21.

The Overall Efficiency Shield was awarded to Kharagpur Division for the best all round performance.

Efficiency Shields in 28 other categories were awarded to different divisions, workshops and stations.

Ranchi station has been adjudged as the Best Kept Station.

General Manager stressed on making all out efforts to attain the satisfaction of passengers and freight customers.

She also appreciated the cooperation extended by the different Associations and Trade Unions.
