Spend many hundreds crores, but in last 10 yrs not a single sanctioned project done by NFR till date

Chairman, Eklakhi Balurghat Rail Yatri Kalyan-O-Samaj Unnayan Samity (approved by Ministry of Railways and Government) on behalf of association Smritiwar Roy written on 19th November 2021 to Railway Minister that Railway department sanctioned many crores of projects like Extention of lines, doubling and electrification for 87.5 km – from Eklakhi to Balurghat – Infrastructure development.

Opening of all necessary section offices at Balurghat (shown in Railway portal but practically not a single section office physically done here), Reck point and for pit and site also charge point system (Rs 15.38 crores for Balurghat only).

He has drawn to Minister’s kind attention and said that the matter of great surprise that new DRM Katihar in his very recent tour at Balurghat, Gangarampur and Buniadpur said the people the story of PPP model for completion of these projects.

Once again he writes to Minister that above all projects sanctioned by Railway department and Perliament sanctioned money since 2011-12 to till date spend many hundreds crores. But not a single sanctioned project done by NFR, Katihar Division and both GM/Construction and GM/Open Line till date.

He has submitted all documents, and proofs to Railway Board and Minister for Railways earlier.
