Railway employees supported the “Bharat Bandh” called by farmers on the call of AIRF

New Delhi: On 27th September 2021, on the call of All India Railway Men’s Federation (AIRF), Rallies, Demonstration and protest meetings were organised by the affiliated unions of AIRF in all over India to support of “Bharat Bandh” called by the farmers of the country.

Shiva Gopal Mishra, General Secretary, All India Railwaymen’s Federation said on this occasion that the railway workers have also given their full support to this movement of farmers in protest against the demands of the farmers and the four anti-labour codes passed by the present government.

The affiliated unions of AIRF organized their protest by organising demonstrations and protest meetings with a large number of railway workers at various places, administrative offices, and workshops throughout the day.

Shri Mishra while addressing a protest meeting organised by Headquarter Division at NDCR office under the banner of Northern Railway Men’s Union in New Delhi said, that the farmers of the country have been sitting on dharna for so many days for their demands but the government is not paying attention to them.

The government is doing grave injustice to the farmers and the food donors of the country by not accepting the demands of the farmers, because the farmer is our food donor and if the government is doing injustice to them, what will happen to the common citizens of the country.

Similarly, he strongly opposed the Four anti labor codes which have been made by the government and said that this government is against the Labours, because the way the work of selling the properties of the whole country is being done by this government.

Not only property, the entire country will be sold. The government doesn’t care about the common man, he said.

The General Secretary, Shiva Gopal Mishra said that the All India Railwaymen’s Federation is fully with the Farmers of country in this movement.

He said that on the call of the All India Railwaymen’s Federation, under the leadership of our affiliated unions, the railway workers across the country today started a campaign for the support of the “Bharat Bandh” on the call of country farmers and against the four anti-labour codes passed by the government and have shown their strong protest.
