NRMU decided to support with complete solidarity to the All India Workers & Peasant’s Strike

National Railway Mazdoor Union (NRMU) (CR/KR) have decided to express its complete solidarity to the proposed ‘All India workers & peasant’s Strike’ called by Central Trade Unions including HMS to be held on 08.01.2020.

This strike has been called against the anti labour policies of the central government through which they have decided to privatise Train Operations of Indian Railways, Reduce present staff strength To below 50%, Non filling up of lakhs of vacancies.

To sell out Railway Land and Stations, To disinvest public shares of profit making subsidiaries of Indian Railways such as CONCOR, RITES, IRCON etc., Amalgamation of 44 workers friendly labour laws to 4 management friendly Labour Codes, High Unemplyment, Down trended economy, Exploitation of Contract staff and Pathetic Plight of Farmers of the country.

In connection with the above, Under the stewardship of General Secretary Com.Venu P Nair, union will take out a “Maha Rally” on 08.01.2020 at 14.00 hours from Platform No. 18 at CSMT to Azad Maidan to demonstrate & support to the strike.
