Short Terminate Tirunelveli-Bilaspur 22619/22620 Express, passenger’s demand

The train no. 22619/22620, Tirunelveli – Bilaspur Express has actually benefited only Kerala passengers and not south Tamilnadu passengers. Also since these trains have a circuitous route and long running hours, the Kanyakumari and Tirunelveli passengers are facing hazardous situation.

As per this, the railway authorities are forcing the passengers to travel by this train, instead of operating on available short routes. Everyone knows that the train is useful for the people of Kerala and the only reason to operate it from Tirunelveli/ Nagercoil is dumping or maintenance.

Recently, railway administration issued the order for short termination of Thiruvananthapuram – Nizamuddin weekly 22655/22656 Express at Ernakulam because of inconvenient departure timing (1:00) and less occupancy which leads to less income.

In the same way one more train Tirunelveli-Bilaspur 22619/22620 running from Tirunelveli district is starting at 1:15. This train also is running with less occupancy and creating more loss for railways.

So the railway administration is kindly requested by the passengers for a similar short termination of Bilaspur – Tirunelveli 22619/22620 weekly train at  Kochuveli itself.

Extend any one Thiruvananthapuram bound Konkan route train to Tirunelveli:

Passengers also request for a train service, which benefits of Madurai division people and more income to railways. So they request the extension of Thiruvananthapuram – Veraval Exp 16333/16334 weekly and Kochuveli-Shri Ganganagar Express 16311/16312 weekly to Tirunelveli.

This train connects the outskirts of Mumbai which benefits the people more as well as revenue generation for the railways would be increased as they can see that the existing Mumbai bound trains have full occupancy.

On behalf of the passengers, the above demands given by the DRUCC member, Madurai Division, Southern Railway B. Siva Kumar.
