How a steno stayed 33 years at a depot?

This is the condition of all depot where the staff of stenos are posted from lang time or since joining in the Railway and this is the main reason of corruption

A stenographer named Kuber Prasad, Confidencial Assistant to Deputy Chief Engineer, Construction, North Eastern Railway, Lucknow, posted at the same place since 33 years.

His date of Posting in Construction Organization of N E Railway at Lucknow under Deputy Chief Engineer, Construction, Lucknow is 10-03-1989.

Earlier he was posted under Deputy Chief Engineer, Construction, Izzatnagar. The entire office of DyCE/C/IZN was shifted and set up as the new office of DyCE/C/LJN at Lucknow was formed in the year 1991.

So that Kuber Prasad is posted in Construction Organization, Lucknow since 1989 – earlier at Izzatnagar and after that he is continuing under Deputy Chief Engineer/Construction at Lucknow till date.

He is working from the last about 33 Years at the same place and as per reliable sources he is involved in major irregularities like corruption and manipulation.

At present he is only doing/preparing of TC of tenders and contractors’ bills in the office of Dy Chief Engineer, Construction, Lucknow.

“He is also harassing for transfer and posting of technical and office/field staff as well as disclosing the confidencial informations of the office”, said sources.

Sources say, “this is the condition of all depot where the staff of stenos are posted from lang time or since joining in the Railway and this is the main reason of corruption because the staff working on sensitive posts since long and there is no rotation of these staff as per CVC guidelines.”
