How DOPT & Railway Board is violating the agreement?

• GS/NFIR Dr. M. Raghavaiyah vide NFIR PNM Sub. No.35/2018 had represented to Railway Board/CRB that the Night Duty Allowance (NDA) in 7th CPC is less than the 6th CPC.

• Board issued a revised NDA order dated 29.09.2020 with ceiling limit Rs.43,600.

• 70% of employees of Sr.Technicians, Supervisors, SMs, CTIS, Controllers, Running Staff getting more than Rs.43,600 did not get adequate Night Duty Allowance for their work.

• GS/NFIR had represented to Secretary / CRB on 07.10.20, 20.10.20 & 30.10.20 and discussed on 27.10.2020 quoting Justice N. M. Miabhoy Labour Tribunal Award 1969 which was approved by the Parliament.

• How DOPT/Railway Board is violating the agreement? Employees are frustrated.

• CRB assured GS/NFIR that the matter will be discussed in Full Board.

• All Zonal Affiliates to the NFIR are represented GMs vide their letter address to Railway Board to keep the illogical & unjustified NDA order in abeyance.
