ECR: Picnic and Party at Public Money

Hajipur: Retiring on 31 August, 2026, General Manager, East Central Railway (#GMECR) with his entourage marched on picnic path and cost of which will be borne by poor people of this country. The extravagance of the party will be borne by contractors and officers & staff. This is totally shameless despite bringing it to the notice of Railway Minister and his contract-CRB, this mockery of system went on.

#PCPO & #PCSC with their families are going to entertain GM and his wife. What is role they have when GM will discuss loading with colliery and HURL. They even don’t have any role in GM interaction with Branch Officers of Division.

The whole Dhanbad Division for last one month or so is busy preparing grand farewell of General Manager. Accidents, derailments and fire incidents continued but DRM and his team was busy learning their dance step. Nothing can be more obvious that clear misuse of government machinery for private entertainment.

“Why wives are accompanying their officer husbands in an official inspection, if it is so, who will bear the cost of vehicles and staff deployed for these blood sucking parasites?” Asking the officers and employees.

A senior employee says that the PHODs accompanying GM are just going for picnic. “Poor public of this country are made to travel like cattle after paying the fare but government servants are using special train facilities for their private picnic that too on public money.” He said.

An official of SAIL told #Railwhispers that, “Why a retiring GM is visiting SAIL Colliery and HURL by using special train? For sale his own entertainment and alleged collection he is going spoil Sunday of other organisations too.”

A senior official of ECR said, “No one is against descent farewell senior officers like GM but what is being done is pure corruption and misuse of power and public money nothing else. Prime minister resolute of corruption free India fails here.”
