Review all contracts for requirements vis a vis expenditure

100% provision of POS on catering units and 100% implementation of ‘No bill No payment’

New Delhi: During Vedio Conference with all GMs/DRMs and PHODs of all Zonal Railways by Minister for Railways Piyush Goyal on Wednesday, 23rd October, following points were discussed-

1. All finance related files should be critically reviewed before sending to Railway Board, revised estimate sent to board should again be critically reviewed.

2. Every Zone should review all it’s contracts for requirements vis a vis expenditure.

3. All re-engaged retired employees should be disengage.

4. Cartel formation in stores procurement should be dealt severely.

5. All Zones should review pricing for various procurements.

6. Some more innovative ideas to be think upon for increasing loading to widen scope of items being loaded.

7. Adequate effort for increasing sundry earning should be taken.

8. Ticketless traveling should be dealt seriously.

9. 100% provision of POS machines on all catering units and 100% implementation of ‘No bill No payment’.

10. AAC of all stock items should be reviewed critically.

11. Auditing of all depots for inventory control.

12. More saving in fuel must be in the minds of officers and staff concerned.
