#Mantri ji, From #Ajmer to #Liluah & #Bhavnagar to #Jamalpur, bogies are maintained. in 1980s #MadhavraoScindia helped modernise all #workshops & #ProductionUnits. In PUs, he created #Design Centres so that #PUs can work independent of #RDSO in detailed designing.

In fact, #VandeBharat is product of one such Design Centre at @ICF. No wonder after Scindia IR could not get any visionary minister. For #Safety though, Nitish Kumar would always be remembered as someone who gave focused attention to bridges & tracks.

It is unfortunate that despite ₹14 Lakh crore investment no lasting and enduring input could be given. All IR got was #confusion, #corruption and unbridled #incompetent-leadership picked for their yes(wo)manship potential.

New Delhi #stampede clearly brings out that it was not a #infrastructure failure. It was failure of #management and we know that #IndianRailways (IR) is now run by managers who are not required to have any sense of ownership.
