CRB had called FROA for a meeting at 10.00 AM on Thursday to discuss IRMS
This is the brief issued by the Secretary, FROA
The good news is that CRB sir asked for 4 alternatives for TADK issue which might be shared in the group or on this number so that I can share it with FROA members. Sir seemed open to the idea as long as we give a workable solution. So everybody can put on their thinking caps and come up with an idea which can be implemented.
8 of us, one from each of the services attended the meeting on Thursday, 10th February 2022.
Administration was of the opinion that Cabinet’s decision cannot be changed.
The deliberations (each service member gave their opinion) were about the difficulty in merging the existing services and likely model for recruiting IRMS candidates.
FROA requested that Group ‘A’ officers should be recruited from this year itself which was appreciated by administration. Further, need for safeguarding the career progression of each service was also highlighted by FROA.
Finally, We requested for restoration of TADK earlier system. CRB was positive about this and asked to suggest alternatives in writing so that this may be examined.
End of message.
From SROA side, “we had requested FROA for highlighting the need for immediate relief by way of recruitment of Class one officers, renewed efforts on TADK and to use the opportunity of this meeting effectively.”
