South Eastern Railway organises meeting with Freight Customers
South Eastern Railway is taking different measures to improve its Freight Loading performance and sought the co-operation of the freight customers -Prabhas Dansana, PCOM
Kolkata: Prabhas Dansana, Principal Chief Operations Manager (#PCOM), South Eastern Railway recently held a meeting with the representatives of Cement manufacturing plants at SER Headquarters, Garden Reach.
PCOM Shri Dansana briefed the representatives of the Cement producing units about the steps taken by South Eastern Railway for development of infrastructure facilities for the freight customers.
He stated that South Eastern Railway is taking different measures to improve its Freight Loading performance and sought the co-operation of the cement manufacturers in this regard.
Representatives of Dalmia Cement, NUVOCO, ACC, Ultra Tech Cement, Ambuja Cement, JSW Cement, RAMCO and Shree Cement were present at the meeting.
During the interactive session, elaborate discussions were held regarding the difficulties faced by the Cement manufacturers and ways to overcome them.
The representatives of the Cement manufacturing plants appreciated the steps taken by South Eastern Railway for the benefit of the Freight Customers and assured about their co-operation.
