Tejas Express missed halt – Drivers kept under suspension

Incident:
Crew failed to stop his train at Schedule (temporary) halt at Andheri and overshoot platform.
Report:
Andheri is temporary halt added on 14.02.21 upto 29.03.21 only.
Starter signal of Andheri was in OFF (green) Position.
Loco Pilot has made an entry in diary regarding the halt but got confused due to Green aspect of the starter signal.
He applied emergency brake but overshoot the platform.
As per extant practise signal should be kept “ON” for Mail/Express trains but as per G & SR Loco Pilot has to stop at halt even if the signal is OFF.
Action Taken:
Drivers kept under suspension.

ADI-MUMBAI Tejas Exp moved past Andheri today without halting as scheduled halt
Matter was brought to notice of officials immediately & an unscheduled halt was promptly arranged at Dadar where approx 42 passengers deboarded
