TTE becomes ‘Devdoot’ in moving train, saves a life of elderly passenger by giving CPR

New Delhi: Once again, #TTE has saved the life of a #passenger by becoming ‘#Devdoot’ in a moving train. #RajeevKumar & #Manmohan of #NERailway sacrificed their lives to save the life of an elderly man who suddenly became unconscious while traveling in #Chapra. By providing (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (#CPR) and mouth-to-mouth #oxygen support to the old man in the moving train, his life was saved.

Actually, an elderly couple was traveling in the general coach of train no. 15708, #AmrapaliExpress going from Amritsar to Hajipur. Suddenly the health of the 70 year old man deteriorated and he became unconscious. Then his wife started screaming and pleading for help. Seeing the woman, TTE Rajiv Kumar and Manmohan Kumar reached the spot.

Seeing the condition of the old man, without wasting any time he started giving CPR and mouth-to-mouth oxygen support. After continuous efforts for about 5 minutes, the passenger’s condition started improving. After which the old man opened his eyes and sat up.

After which the #Passengers present in the coach said, “TTE Saheb has come as a messenger of God”. After the #train reached #Chapra, doctors treated him and referred him to the Civil Hospital.
