Rourkela loco shed of SER bags the best performing shed award

Kolkata: Rourkela Loco Shed has bagged the Best Performing Shed Award among all zonal Railways in the category of “Homing Three Phase Locos”.

The Shed has been adjudged as the winner for best maintenance practices and to achieve less number of failures in terms of FRPCPY (Failure Rate Percentage Per Year).

Rourkela Loco Shed has also secured 2nd position in the category of “Least Number (in percentage) of Major Overdue Locomotives”.

Apart from this, Kharagpur Loco Shed has secured 2nd position in the category of “Unscheduled Lifting of Locos on Ownwership Basis”.

The Ministry of Railways has sanctioned Cash Awards for Rourkela Loco Shed and Kharagpur Loco Shed in recognition of their excellent performance.
