Mantriji, It is a pick time to shut down Workshop Project Organisation, Patna
Workshop Project Organisation (#WPO), Patna is exclusive Mechanical Organisation headed by Chief Administrative Officer from IRSME doing construction work of so-called workshop modernization.
There is no relevancy of this Organisation when each Zone has separate construction unit headed by one or two CAOs. It is white elephant and big burden on railway expenditure.
Present #CAO/WPO/Patna Mr Manu Goyal is highly controversial officer against whom a number of complaints were done to Railway Board vigilance and CRB/CEO, Railway Board.
Recently, Railway Board Vigilance has seized about 20 files from WPO office, Patna. Mr Manu Goyal has also been confirmed this seizure of files but said that only 11 file are handed over to the vigilance.
Now it is pick time to shut down this Organisation. Railway Board is not monitoring the works being executed by WPO Patna. Senior railway officers posted there since the inception of this Organisation are enjoying life there on railway money.
This organisation is not under control of #GMECR. It comes under directly Member Infrastructure, Railway Board. How Railway Board can do monitoring of #WPO established at far away from Indian Railways’ headquarters, Delhi.
When #COFMOW etc. can be closed then why not WPO/Patna which was set up by the then political bosses exclusively for some officers of a particular department only to loot and misappropriation of funds. The present #EnHM is also on the same line where the sole purpose has not been achieved.
Hon’ble Minister for Railways must take the decision to close this useless Organisation immediately. To continue..
