Train passed through BKH at 02.25, SCOR/ET reported that LP passed SCKR DN home in “ON” position about 2.35.
Load backed upto Home signal and, Train arrived SCKR Main line at 2.50
As per LP, she observed the caution order of 30 kmph (km-847/2-847/4), between Distance and Home signal, and controlled the speed up to 10 kmph.
ALP opened RS valve
LP applied Emergency brake but train could not be stopped and passed 1/2 coach+Loco.
Prima-facie observation of this SPAD is that the late braking applied by LP.
No gradient/brake power issues.
SrDEE/TRO, SrDSO, CEE (operation) proceeded immediately for the site after getting information.
