Railway electrification (RE) being done by Chief Project Director (CPD), Danapur A. K. Chaudhary who is having very close link with Railway Board’s previous Member Traction (MTR) Ghanshyam Singh.

High level of substandard works of Railway Electrification has been done in entire East Central Railway by CPD RE DNR. Although CRS inspection was done in Bakhtiyarpur-Rajgir-Tillaiya section (140km), Kiul-Gaya (100km), Fatua-Islampur section (40km) under Danapur division almost 2 years ago and trains are properly running, but not even a single Traction Substation (TSS) in any of these section has been completed till date.

No SP (sectioning post), SSP (Sub sectioning post) has been made functional. Under the heavy pressure or influence of exMTR Ghanshyam Singh these sections were opened without actual completion of RE works. This is the actual situation on all over in Indian Railways of RE work.

पूर्वोत्‍तर रेलवे के गोरखपुर-नरकटियागंज रेलखंड के बाल्मीकि नगर स्टेशन के आगे पूर्व मध्य रेलवे के समस्तीपुर मंडल के अंतर्गत 18 सितंबर को इलेक्ट्रिक पोल (ओएचई मास्ट) के फाउंडेशन के साथ उखड़कर ट्रैक पर गिर जाने से कई ट्रेनें जहां की तहां खड़ी हो गई थीं। सप्तक्रांति सुपरफास्ट एक्सप्रेस बाल्मीकिनगर स्टेशन पर, हमसफर एक्सप्रेस पनियहवा स्टेशन पर और एक सवारी गाड़ी को खड्डा स्टेशन पर सुबह से रोका गया था। रेल अधिकारी भारी बारिश के बावजूद कड़ी मशक्कत करके यातायात व्‍यवस्‍था बहाल करने में सफल हो पाए थे।
